Agreed with your notion.
IMO the time spent in rasing capital in AU is even potentally a real risk to succeeding - such a massive time sink that would otherwise be put into sales/productdev.

We have brought http://www.BuzzNumbersHQ.com to market in 9 months (whilst doing client work and eating noodles to stay afloat). We spent probably 4 months trying to raise capital and it was such a pain that we have given up and using our now found free time in sales/dev and its working…
That said, an angel falling from the sky wouldnt hurt :)
